"Don't worry about anything; instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4: 6-7
We are not called to worry. If we pray about something and actually give it to God, but then worry about it; we are not walking in faith and we are actually going against God's word. When you are praying for your families, don't keep praying for the same thing over and over without thanking God for the answer and then sit around worrying about it. Pray for the protection, thank God for it and walk in His promises. Be confident and have faith in the Lord! "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." Hebrews 11:1
Faith is Now! Don't hope for something from the Lord, have faith that the Lord is doing it now and keep thanking Him for it.
Mark 11:22-24 says, "...Have faith in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and thrown into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."
Make sure you are also speaking Life over your family. It's in the little things too. Don't say things like "you're going to get in an accident etc..." Give your children wise direction and inform them of what will happen if they don't walk in wisdom, but watch what you speak over them. "Life and death are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits." Proverbs 18:21.
"Since we have the same spirit of faith according to what has been written, "I believed, and so I spoke," we also believe, and so we also speak." 2 Corinthians 4:13.
Prayer:
Thank you God that you have your hand of protection on me, my children and my spouse today. Thank you that you have sent your angels to surround us today in everything we do and everywhere we go. I rebuke anything that the enemy may have planned for today to hurt my family and I thank you that we carry something inside of us that is stronger than anything of this world or of hell. Thank you for your Holy Spirit and thank you for your divine protection. "No weapon formed against them will prevail...(Isaiah 54:17)" in Jesus name!
